A Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Master Practitioner and an expert in MBTI type, Patrick has over 25 years of experience putting the MBTI® instrument to practice for leadership development, team building, communication enhancement, change management, conflict management, and stress management.

Patrick has conducted MBTI workshops for organizations including Healthforce Center at UCSF, Kaiser Permanente, The Permanante Medical Group, Alameda-Contra Costa County Medical Association, the UCSF School of Medicine, Adventist Health, Marin Community Clinics, Amgen, Bernards, Hitachi Power Grids, Richmond (BC) School District No. 38, and the University of Notre Dame.
Patrick was a keynote speaker at the 2017 ACARA Conference in Buenos Aires and the 2016 MBTI® Users Conference in San Francisco. He is also one of 12 faculty who conducts the MBTI Certification Program in the U.S. and Canada.
In addition, Patrick is the author of the book True Type Tales, a collection of real-life stories about type in action in everyday life.
Patrick is founder and Past-President of SANDAPT, the San Diego chapter of the Association for Psychological Type International. Patrick is also a National Certified Counselor and holds his MBA and Career Counseling Graduate Certificate from California State University, Long Beach.
